I am first of all an unashamed Christian. I pledge allegience to Jesus Christ Crucified. In that I am a nationalist I believe the purpose of government is to serve the needs of its citizens - FIRST. Furthermore, I believe power rises from the bottom up - from the people, not from the top down - which is what these radicals are trying to shove down our throats right now.
We are reminded of the example of true sacrificial service during this Lenten Season. In Jesus the Christ we see Him feeding the hungry during the Sermon on the Mount - Matthew 5-7. Imagine a huge crowd with crying babies and fragile elderly sitting on the turf. Breaking taboos as in reaching out to the alienated and banished in His dialogue with the Samaritan Woman at the Well - John 4:4-18. Clearly, she was unlucky in love having had five husbands and currently living with a man. Then the Woman caught in adultery - John 8:1-ll. If Jesus hadn't stepped up to save her they would have splattered her brain all over Jesus and the ground. And I should mention that poor Woman with the bleeding disorder. (Matthew 9:20-22). She was ritually unclean and therefore had to live seperated from her family and the community. Jesus served and saved them.
Furthermore, I believe our Founding Fathers were men of great wisdom (not racist white supremacist like people try to depict them). Regarding how they saw God relative to our Constitution my favorite quote is as follows....
“Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” - John Adams
Hell is the absence of God. I choose God.
