Haha this is so true. Schools teach nothing about money to kids. It’s something parents have to do and really give them tough love on it.

Set some rules about what they have to pay for themselves. Then give them their spending money at the beginning of the month. When they screw it up and over spend don’t give them extra. They have to feel the pain of missing the night out or groveling for a ride bc no gas money.

I really think this is why so many women are bad at money. Mom and dad always give in to their sweet daughters.
