3 losses which would have been 8-9 losses if not for Daniels. He had to be Superman in every game because LSU had the worst defense in half a century.
You realize Nuss have 400 yards only passing against one of the best defenses LSU played all year. While also coming from behind 14 points to win. That was more impressive than anything Daniels did all year.

The fact that you think Wisconsin has a good defense, is hilarious to me. When you play Nebraska, Northwestern, Iowa, and Illinois all year, anybody defense looks good.

That was great for Nuss and LSU, but they only needed 31 to win. Daniels lost games where the defense gave up 42, 45, and 55 points IN REGULATION!

Daniels had 390 yards and 3 TDs in 3 quarters vs Bama. Nuss had 395 yards and 3 TDs in a full game vs Wisconsin...

He also had 390 yards and 4 TDs in a win on the road vs a team that finished 11-2 and beat Ohio St in their bowl game. A game where he scored 2 game saving TDs (both big plays), AFTER he hurt his ribs

He also got concussed and knocked out the Bama game, only to come back the very next week and put up 52 points and break an NCAA record that got his jersey forever enshrined in the college football Hall of Fame. You know the game where he put up 372 yards and 3 TD passing (Nuss 395 yards 3 TD), AND 234 rush yards and 2 TDs?
