re: VMI 5 @ LSU 27 Final - 7 innings

I said this this morning at the end of yesterday's game thread (in a post way too long that I'm sure nobody read), but man, Moffett could really be a valuable piece of the pen if he can throw strikes. And I really think we're gonna need either him or Little to be able to. Preferably both.

Because as deep as our pitching staff appears to be, the one thing we're really missing is hard throwing RH bullpen arms that can be trusted in high leverage situations. I think they like Ulloa, but that may be it currently. If we were in a close late-inning SEC game tomorrow, I think the only right-handers they'd trust to go to out of the pen would be Guidry, Ulloa, and Dutton. Need to be able to add Little and Moffett to that list by the time SEC play rolls around.
