Green card holders can be deported, so deportable doesn't mean illegal alien. She was married to an American which would probably give her at least legal status, but not citizen.

If they came illegally… they came illegally. Hence illegal alien.
May have gotten married and received a green card.. but they forever came illegally.
And once a divorce happens… which is easy to find if you are the least bit able to use the internet.. they are deportable if their immigration process hasn’t been completed.
