Someone I know had the Predator 3500 he used with his small16 ft travel trailer and had no problems with it powering his A/C and lights when he was boondocking.
He traded up to a 25 ft travel trailer and had problems with the 3500 powering that trailer's A/C and all the other electric needs. He bought the 5000 and is very happy with it. He uses the the propane option for fuel and likes the remote on/ off switch that allows him to turn off the unit at night when he goes to bed for the night. He doesn't have to go outside and physically turn it off. In the morning, he uses the remote to start the unit while he gets dressed, fixes coffee, etc.
