On 2/2/2024, the Mandeville Police Department responded to a report of a shot being fired in the 3800 block of Hwy 22 during the Krewe of Eve Parade. This incident resulted in a juvenile obtaining a non life threatening gun shot wound. Following this incident, several persons were detained and questioned. No arrest have been made at this time as this is still an active investigation. Investigators are working diligently at this time and MPD would also like to thank assisting agencies for their quick response.
