re: What do you like most and least about where you currently live?

North Shore:

Least: Mosquitoes, termites, yellow flies. We live next to a wooded area near a river and the insects make it challenging to sit outside in peace. When we travel to someplace that was not built on a swamp and I can sit outside without getting bitten by any insects I get really excited.

Most: Local events (festivals, concerts, art markets, farmers markets, etc.), overall sense of community, town is walkable, general laid back vibe. And as much as I hate the insects, I love how beautiful the river and surrounding wooded areas are.
