my son is very independent for his age really.
He's been doing his laundry since middle school, fixing his lunches for school if he doesn't want cafeteria food, cleans his room and bathroom and has several chores around the house that he has to do.
the only thing I really do- and that's more for me is deep clean his room abt twice a year to shampoo his carpet.
And if he doesn't want to eat what I fix for supper he's on his own there also,
