Les was quite the opposite. LSU at that time was absolutely loaded with talent but Les could never modify his offense to fit dynamic players like RS.

Nutt probably has a decent head-to-head against Les considering how vast the talent gap was during his tenure at both Ark and OleMiss.

but e could not recruit... look at all the programs he had... took other coaches players and made them play very well.... then 2-3 years in had no talent rosters.

Nutt won with Os players at Ole Piss.




funny story... i said this after the LSU ole miss game way back when and a table of Ole Miss girls got offended when i said it...so i went and brought htem shots... turns out it was Hannah Nutt, Houstons daughter and her sister. I got her number.... and nothing came of that.

Les is 4-3 against Nutt in that 7 year period.

In one of the Nutt wins, all Les had to do was know how much time was on the clock.
