I'm sure y'all were both just frustrated. good idea to to just walk away and let things settle down.
I am sure your wife loves you vv much, and you her.
Might I suggest though, in the future before you start assembling things, that you check the diagram included with the furniture to make sure you have all the pieces before you get started?
That list thingy is included for a reason.
