I am 50+ years old. It is a pretty deliberate task for me to do so as well. I literally bought an Apple watch to be able to leave the phone at home at times, knowing I would at least only be able to grab a call if it were important enough without being tempted to make one. Not to shite on Gen Z, but we fought something similar with Walkmans being used to check out. We just didn't have the internet to tell everyone about that "struggle" (and others). I’m in my early 50s and had to listen to the same dumb shite 40 years ago about how kids suck, lazy, and watch tv too much. I am somewhat strict about screens in my kids faces, especially for too long and being in their rooms. But I don’t think it’s a generation problem, it’s an every generation problem.
