Truth. If you have any operation done, no matter how major or minor, every damned body who is within a city block of the procedure comes in to the room with their hand out looking to get paid.

If a HVAC contractor happens to change an air filter while you are in the hospital that cocksucker is liable to send you a bill. It's bad enough that everyone in a Hospital thinks nothing of asking if you have had a BM or passed gas but they all send you a bill that you most likely do not owe and its up to you to prove you do not owe it...

MD Anderson was/is by far the easiest place to deal with. If your insurance is in network with them, every test, doctor, etc. you see and do is also in network.

You don't have to worry about all the ER docs being out of network or random radiologists, pathologists reading your results to be out of network.

For a system that size it is quite incredible.
