Bourbon is a acquired taste just like anything else. I have always been a tequila guy and still consider myself that. But I do enjoy bourbon as well now.


I mean, how many people took their first swig of beer and said, "that is great"? I guess not many

My Swedish grandfather would reward me with sip of beer if I went and brought him one from the fridge when I was a little kid.

I drank so much bourbon as a child I can barely tolerate it today. I do like single malts and blended whiskeys though. For the un-initiated good tequila can be as smooth and tasty as the finest brown waters I have ever found...way to many cacti wind up in a blender to the detriment of mankind...
