You act like four years of this didn't happen before.

Trump was good for 3 years, mostly because of normal conservative policies, not the populist economic nationalism that he ran on. The Paul Ryan tax cuts ushered in a great economy. Mitch McConnell played his hand brillanyly to get us another SCOTUS pick, and the federalist society made a good list for Trump to choose from. He was good on energy policy, but the trade wars were dumb and helped fuel inflation. The border was much more secure, but it had nothing to do with the wall, and much more to do with sound policies that could have been made permanent through legislation. Trump was too hung up on the optics of the wall to make that happen. The world was safer, mostly because Trump was unpredictable(that's not a bad thing btw).

But when the country really needed leadership during the pandemic and the BLM riots, he was out to lunch. He listened to the wrong people, and spent way too much money. He did everything that Fauci wanted, much to the detriment of the country.
And then he was just too insecure to admit that he lost the 2020 election, that he had to make up a cacophony of conspiracy theories about how it was stolen. Had he just admitted defeat, or conceded under protest, without causing January 6th, he could have strolled back into the White House with very little effort. His covid response and Jan. 6th will be the albatross that ultimately will keep him out of the White House.

Exactly! 1000% fact except he actually planned to say the election was stolen before the election, if he lost.

Beautiful. All of the good things he did were because of other people. But Covid is all on him. Well done.
