Little before Hallman. The first real coach I knew of was Stovall. I got lucky when one year our yearly trek to BR was to the Florida State Orange Bowl game. That was one of my best memories.......that and beating Bama in Legion Field in the Bear's last year. We went to every LSU game in Legion Field since I was born.

I met Curley Hallman at a LSU banquet. He was a very nice man. I still have his autograph took bad he couldn't coach for sh***.
