Yeah, to your point there was 1 major that I can think off the top of my head - the War of the Pacific between Chile and a Bolivia-Peru alliance in the 1880s. Chile won that war and got a fair chunk of its territory from it. It actually made Bolivia landlocked and it's an issue they still bring up to Chile and international courts from time to time.
There have been like a half a dozen other interstate conflicts since then between various South American states with some territorial changes but I don't think anything that comes close as to the Triple Alliance and War of the Pacific.
