I’m certainly not saying that the defensive coaching doesn’t have a lot of the responsibility on why our defense is bad.

But, a lot of our fans simply cannot comprehend the serious lack of talent and depth on defense.

How can a defense improve over the course of a season when 75% of the players in our secondary that started the season aren’t able to play now??

We have true freshman recruited to play safety starting at Corner (Toviano). Do some of you not understand the difference in talent required to play corner rather than safety in the SEC?

Kelly said prior to the season that this team had major holes and wasn’t ready to compete for a championship, but no one wanted to listen. We now have far bigger holes, defensively, than we did when he made that statement. I didn’t even address the fact that we lost our D line coach at the beginning of the season too.

A lot of you need to face reality, LSU simply doesn’t have the roster to compete for what you all want.

I’m certainly not a fan of Matt House, but he was dealt a really bad hand of cards this year.

These people just can't fathom how far O let this program down. They think Kelly inherited the same type of program Miles and O did.
