I wish we would adopt a more euro academy style for kids who are really into a sport. Like have the multi day a week training and play other local like minded teams but for fricks sake you don’t need to travel all over the place playing meaningless games.

Working in Baton Rouge with a bunch of moms when the travel ball league (what was the name of it? Something dumb) came out with the team pickings.
It was so disgusting
First off it’s little kids playing baseball
Your son isn’t going pro
And then they would gossip about how kids got picked for such team or left off etc etc
Like spending their entire day gossiping about little kids playing baseball like they were talking about an episode of the kardashians
