think there are a lot of people on both sides of it. I’ll crack plenty of Sitka jokes because it’s overpriced. I know it’s quality gear, but you can’t argue with it being overpriced when they’re having sales of 25-50% off at the beginning of hunting season. They did an outstanding job creating a cult following like yeti and convincing people that it’s necessary to spend $350 on a duck hunting jacket that isn’t even waterproof
I know what you mean. I bought 1 or 2 items at full price around 2018 but, I qualified for the outfitters account and started buying almost everything 1/2 off as long as they had it in the warehouse for outfitters. The quality is where Sitka got my approval. I still have some bibs they made before they got into the Duck and deer hunting fields and gave us either prototypes or the 1st ones after testing. I can’t remember if they had just started off or were already known by the mountain hunters.
There are a couple people that still wear them when they come in and need them. This was back in 2012 and they are still as good as they were from day one. I can even still wear them, but it is a little tight for my liking lol.
I have an 18 month old and I honestly believe he could wear them one day if they don’t get burned in a house fire. Other products just don’t last like that. Sitka is one of the companies that you actually get what you pay for.

Got my order in yesterday . I haven’t had them on out in the stand yet but my first thoughts were this stuff is quality made and very well thought out design wise. It’s gonna have to get cold before I test it out. Late season in Missouri should be a good proving ground.
