Quit scheduling Zachary, West Monroe and Destrehan non district and do like St Amant and play Jefferson Rise Charter, Carver and Booker T. Wins mean more than schedule strength, plus you're less beat up heading into District. The District improved greatly this year, so they didn't need to load up out of District games like the ones they played.
Just play two of those kinds of teams per season. There was no need to play 5, usually really good 4A/5A football teams every single season. A few of those being some of the best programs in the state.

None of those three were particularly close either. Leading Destrehan 7-0 at the half was as close as they came against the better teams. (they lost that one 21-7)
