That's what the rumor is. I remember talking to the owner of Fred's at my old job when he came in. Idk how it came up, but it was brought up that Todd told him his plan about Cane's as well. The reply back to Todd was that it would never work because you need to sell more than just chicken fingers in South Louisiana. Needs at least other fried options like shrimp, catfish, etc.
