re: Anyone here had shoulder surgery recently? (torn labrum)

I had this surgery a week ago. My bicep tendon completely ruptured, torn, SLAP multiple tears, cyst in shoulder from previous injury and partial torn rotator cup. Original plan was Bicep Tendonosis procedure, however, after research on long term recovery and gain, decided against it. Once the doc made the incisions and took a look, luckily my bicep tendon had already started scarring in the sheath it was in. He clipped off remaining tendon and made the other repairs. I have been sling free since Friday and am in PT. It probably helps I had my other RC repaired in the past as well as ACL reconstruction a few years ago. 26 years in uniform will break your body up.
