All jokes aside, it really is that simple. Tailgates are in place of the pubs, and you go back and tailgate some more after the game if you want. With your accent, it'll be easy pickins at any tailgate you come by. Just don't be shy, be sociable, and pretty much any party you come by will be very inviting to treat you to food and drinks. It'll be hot as hell, so you'll need to hydrate plenty on beer and bourbon anyway. Since it's Arkansas, there will be plenty of people cooking whole hogs. Should be fun, and a good early game to go to as it's the first SEC home game of the year. Have fun.
