Yes I understand all that, but for gay men they would have to find a surrogate to procreate. Not saying its impossible but probably a lengthy/hard process. So I'd imagine they would in most cases adopt. (Hence making less people)
For Lesbian women to procreate, they would either have to do it the old fashion way. In my experience with the lesbians I know, they wouldn't do this. So the next step would be artificial fertilization. This can get costly and not all people have the means to do this. So in turn, I would imagine alot of lesbian couples would also turn to adoption.
Not saying that these people don't have paternal instincts or the determination to have children.
I'm not an idiot, I know what it takes to procreate and sexually attraction doesn't have to be there for someone to have sex. But you'd be crazy to not believe that the population would drop if the majority of its society were gay/lesbian.
