On another note, the face model for Kenshi, who also did mokap work for 8 characters, did an AMA on Reddit 5 days ago.

ETA: He said he did the mokap work for these fighters:

Kenshi
Liu Kang
Raiden
Sub-Zero
Scorpion
Kung Lao
Smoke
Reptile

Said he got to freestyle a lot of these characters, other than Sub-Zero and Scorpion whose moves were directly dictated by the producers.
