Anyone Here See The Beatles On The Ed Sullivan Show?

Yes but barely remember - just that I saw it at something like 7 years old. Weirdly, it was at my grandmother's house. She loved Ed Sullivan and watched the rock acts and liked them. I remember the Animals on Ed Sullivan more than the Beatles. My father still is pissed with the Beatles because they played a very short concert in Kansas City in 1964 - the same year as the Ed Sullivan Show. Charlie Finley owned the Kansas City A's at the time and moved them to Oakland shortly after. The Beatles had an open date and Charlie Finley threw the checkbook at them in order to get them to play. The members of the band were pissed to lose a down day. They played to the exact time required in the contract and then walked off the stage in the middle of a song. I think they played for around 40 minutes. It wasn't a sellout and Charlie Finley lost his arse.
