My first year of law school in the 80s, I wanted to try out these new plastic baits called sluggos before my bass fishing trip and I lived by the lakes so I went out and tried them out one afternoon just too see how they worked. I caught 4-5 bass in the 2-4 pound range in like 45 minutes. It was unreal as I wasn’t even really intending to catch anything I just wanted to try out the baits as I had never used anything like them before. (Florida Bass stocking program or something)
Maybe they can do that again. Hell if 20 foot deep put in hybred stripe bass too.
