She was the biggest female star in the world in the eighties and nineties and nobody else was close. I don't like her weird artiste persona either, very much preferred the cute slightly slutty girl next door image. Now she thinks she's Marlena Dietrich or something. But there's no getting around the fact that she was and still is a major pop influence.

Agreed, huge star.
That being said will be remembered as a whore before her music in the future.
Look at her, no self respect. Disgusting woman.
