Who do you think is the future quarterback of LSU football for years to come? Jarrett Lee, Andrew Hatch, or Jordan Jefferson?
Posted on 11/21/08 at 2:37 pm to bwatsondemon
None of the above. Russell Shepard

Russell Shepard may never play QB here and of the other 3 listed Hatch will never play again other then maybe FG and PAT. Toss up between LEE and Jefferson but Jefferson has a long way to go to learn how to be a QB in the SEC and this year will really help Lee for the future.

'09 and '10, Mr. Lee. '11 and '12 maybe '13, Sheppard and/or a player to be named later.

Hatch?? are you serious??

This time next year you won't be able to find 3 posters who will admit to having declared Lee permanently incompetent.

Why no mention of Chris Garrett in here. He may not have the wheels that Shep has, but he can sling it around.

Jarrett Lee. He is going to have been a great quarterback when all is said and done. Jefferson will probably transfer and Sheppard will likely not play quarterback.

next year: Lee
beyond that.. too soon to tell.

He's a redshirt freshman. He has made some nice throws and will only get better, especially as long as Crowton is here. He has not been the main problem for our team this season.

russell shepard will be the QB of the future.

Lee is the only one I seeing having the skills. He just needs to learn.

false.
Lee will be starter for next few years with increasing use of shep to open things up and he will probably take over when Lee goes after 4. Garrett will prolly redshirt and JJ will x-fer IMO.

Unless I am mistaken, Shep is coming to LSU because we told him he could be a QB.
