Biggest Uhaul you feel comfortable towing your car behind (and you can fill your car with more stuff too). All except their smallest allow the car dolly behind
Even though you want to keep your furniture, it’s also just as easy to buy new shite off of FB marketplace once you get there so save the room for things that are more expensive/harder to replace and don’t take up room
Other option is pay a friend to follow you in your car (they can help you unload in new spot) and you buy them a one way ticket back

I have been thinking about this as well. Moving that stuff is a pain and some of it is worn anyway.

Then he’ll end up with bedbugs, herpes, you name it! Help him. Show him what he could have, what he could have inside of him. He’s giving you a tiny hole of opportunity, if you’re just willing to go back to his place with him and help pack his shite!

You also can get 2 guys off uhaul.com to help unload they are contractors so leave valuable boxes in car unload it yourself think it was 175 for 2 guys for 2 hours plus tip not pros but good enough to get heavy shite inside
