I bought a used 2015 Hyundai Accent in January 2017 that was a former rental car with 40K miles. I paid cash, just under 10K. I haven’t had a single mechanical issue. Best purchase I’ve ever made. I’m not much of a car enthusiast, I just want to get from point A to point B.

Good job, OP. If I didn’t work from home I’d consider a downsize. My truck is 11 years old and I drive less than 5k a year so there’s really no point. Hopefully get another 10 years out of it and cross that bridge next decade.
