The nsaids prevent swelling so your "normal" doctor told you to not use them, but the leg would split open and melt (phish reference) out the venom. Is that literally what he said? How much did he charge you for that advice?

By the way- there's no test that a vet has to say whether the bite was from a copperhead, rattlesnake, cottonmouth. They can only conclude if it's a hemotoxin which is all of the above. Your "normal" vet telling you they did some tests to prove it was a rattlesnake is lying to you.
