What do you keep your ac on?
You are probably right. They can't and won't and have never tried.
It depends on what AC we are talking about. In the house it is set at about 74 on all 4 units during the day and 72 at night....and about 68 day and night in the winter. 3800 square feet of conditioned space and the power bill runs about $200 a month. I also have a mini split in the garage but it does not run unless I am in the garage. The Department of whoever the frick can make all the recomendations they like...if its hot I'll turn it down, if it is cold I will turn it up...I ain't, however, concerend about costs...some folks are and may save a few bucks using these recomendations.
