I stand corrected. I was well out of the golf business by the time Echelon opened. Was that the original name or would I know it by a different one?
I don't recall hearing about it when it opened and was wondering if I might know it by a different name.
ETA: Woodmont GC in Canton or Callahan Links in that same area are both good public options as well.

It opened under the name Georgia Tech Club I believe. It quickly changed to Echelon. It is very close to White Columns so that's probably why you thought they were the same
There were four courses in that area that seemed to intermix with each other. Two are now closed and turned into neighborhoods.
