Jevan Snead 136/254 1983 yrds..17td, 11 ints.

Jarett Lee 139/257 1824yrds... 14tds, 15 picks.

One of these guys is 21 yr old soph the other is 19 yr old frosh.
Sneed gets labeled as proabably 3 best qb in the sec behind heisman winner and first round pick (stafford)
other gets labeled as he sucks, and just doesnt have it.

Some of tards need to look at things more closely before you try to tear a kid down that is just starting his career here at LSU.

While I feel sorry for Lee(because he really is just a kid), it is now an established, painful fact that he does not know how to read a defense. He knows how to drop back and let the ball fly, and a lot of times makes some spectacular throws, but if he does not learn how to read a defense he will never be successful in this league.

Sneed has a better completion %, more yards, more TD, and fewer int. He's the better qb.

That's true. Think Lee has a little bit better supporting cast.

henceforth the reason not many fresh play qb in the sec or any league for that matter.... JL was supposed to be 3rd string this yr.. people seem to forget that.

more completions (3)..wow
more yrds (159) ...wow
more td's (3)...wow
fewer picks (4)..once again WOW.

you do realize JL split time most of the yr woth someone else... and like I said there is an experience and age difference. My point was even though Snead is ahead of JL right now the gap is not that wide.

Comparing Snead and Lee is simple, one plays for Ole Miss and one plays for LSU. Which one makes his team look better/worse? Who has more talent? gee thats a tough one...JL

so you could have a less talented reciever that gives a 110% for his team... running routes, blocking downfield, laying out, ect ect ect or........
say a player that is "more skilled" that demonstrates bad attitude, lack of effort and overall selfish behavior.

Dont know .... you tell me.

Why do we like to compare so much? The question in my mind is whether or not JL is getting better. I can compare an A$$ to an A$$ and what do you have? . . . An A$$.

JL is continuing to make mistakes and they are costly. He is not able to see the complete field and he stares down recievers too much. He must begin to correct these mistake or Jefferson or Shepard (or Hatch for that matter) will replace him regardless of how good Lee's arm is.

He can definitely chunk it (just like Stafford). He needs to show improvment as the year wears on and into next year. I hope he does. Stafford did. Unlike Georgia, LSU will have viable alternatives if JL does not improve. For his sake he will need to show some of that improvment this year.

Some tards need to realize that LSU's team around the QB is light years better than Ole Piss' team.

If Sneed was at LSU, how many more loses/wins would we have. Didn't Sneed transfer from another program? Sneed also sat out last year and this year has a brnad new coaching staff. Lee, although a red shirt fresh., has been in the same program for 2 yrs straight.

light years?

with that said, if LSU happens to lose sat, then HDN outcoached LM and staff,, being as we are light yrs ahead of them.

Ok. Whose o-line is better? Whose running backs? Whose receivers? Whose skill players like Holiday?

If the answer is LSU on all of the above, the term light years is somewhat true.

If LSU loses it will be because their coaching staff put in better preparations for the game, thus you can say outcoached.

did we get maybe some more highly recruited players than OM..yeah ill agree. but to say we are that far ahead of them is not the case.. to be in the sec and play you are a good football player, regardless if at LSU or OM..

once again if they happen to lose sat, then IMO its gotta be that we got outcoached, being as we have better players...right?

Does anyone really believe that Stafford will be a first round pick in the draft this year or the first quarterback taken? I just don't see this at all. JMHO
