In my humble opinion, Alabama is not the world beater everyone makes them out to be. They have greatly benefitted from a very 'down' year in the SEC west. They escaped with a win in Tiger Stadium and they know it. If Lee had been a redshirt soph instead of a redshirt freshman, we win. Bama's only truely impressive victory is Georgia. And alot of that was Georgia playing flat, they outplayed Bama in second half. Clemson is a bust and Bama looked average against Ole Miss and Vandy. Yall are way too worried about Bama.

Alabama is the USC of the south. The media wants them to win. Florida is in the same boat.
I agree with your analysis, however, they are playing alot of freshmen....that worries me.

They have taken Auburn's place in the SEC West. It was always a AU-LSU battle, now it will be Bama-LSU. Saban is good no doubt and they will be contenders. My only point is that suddenly everyone thinks we've become second tier to them which is completely untrue.

they had as many fricks ups as we did in the game though. neither team played well. and they have won all their games.

they might be overrated by our standards, but they would still run the table in any of the other conferences except the Big 12. In fact, LSU, Bama, Georgia, and Florida would run the table in the ACC, Big East, Pac 10 (besides USC),and the Big 10 easily.

You obviously don't know what the frick you are talking about, seeing as Alabama didn't play Vanderbilt this season. You also must not watch a lot of television because no one in the national media is talking about Alabama. They are all swooning over Florida.

You LSU fans kill me with your fricked up reasoning. Auburn and LSU have been battling for ALABAMA'S spot in the SEC West. Between the two of you, you don't have as many SEC championships as Alabama. Congratulations! Your best decade ever came while Bama was on probation. Alabama is right back where they belong.

All of you are looking for Florida to validate LSU's season by beating Alabama. That's fricking sad. Alabama has only given up 50 points in a game four times in their history. Your team gave up 50 twice in three weeks. And now all you can do is pray that Florida beats Alabama.

I'm no Bama fan, be I do know that you can't count Saban out on a one-game basis. He is a defensive guru and a better coach than Urban Meyer. If I had one game to win, I would take Nick over Urban

TideSaint, LSU's season has been exactly what many expected since RP was released, however many simply refuse to acknowledge it. We're down this year and deserved to lose every game we did. I have no qualms about that. I dont like Florida or Bama and I dont need Florida to win to validate anything, other than your overrated place in the polls.....

I know Florida may win, but they will not walk all over Alabama as they have everyone else since the Ole Miss game. As the old saying goes: "They may have won, but they definitely know they were in a fight."

One game does not a turnaround make!!
Congrats on a great season....it's been magical, and having a seasoned Sr. QB and a few new playmakers made the difference....and, your coach has done a great job in bringing discipline back to a team that needed it....
That being said, I still like our chances to dominate the SEC West.....it will be you guys and Auby being the "plug and play" competitors with LSU.
