Depends where you live. I live in southern MS, went to public, and work at public schools doing IT work and coaching. Wouldnt send my kids anywhere else.
Now if we lived in nola, baton rouge, etc... aint no way my kids goin public lol

The magnet schools around here are an exception but the run of the mill public schools are trash now.
