re: Older parents- how have your kids turned out?

I have a 19 year old in the Marine Corps and loves it. He has a trust fund set up to go to college but told me he wanted to serve his country while he figures out what career path he wants to take before taking on getting a degree. My daughter is getting close to graduating college. I was a pain in my parents arse growing up. Hated school and loved to party. Was very fearful I’d get kids worse than me for what I put my parents through but I did get my act together when I was around 20 and got a MBA. I dodged a bullet because my kids got their act together.
