Does every Vet start filing for disability immediately after discharge?
I left the service in 99 after six years of duty in the Army. I had never heard of VA disability until the last couple of years. It wasn't really a thing back then, but apparently now the military is like going to VA school on how you can max out your benefits.
Like someone else said, I got my GI Bill and a VA loan. Those two things have served me very well in my life.
