The cpa lobby will never allow it
As a small biz owner I’d love it just get rid income taxes for the hassle of it all.

I agree. My thinking is that it would also require a lot more creativity for Washington elites to cheat in that system than our current setup. I'm quite sure they'd figure out a way, but with the number of holes in our current system, they don't even have to try hard to get away with shenanigans
