for Vilma- I'd do it again. Heck, he's worth a first rounder honestly. We HAVE to resign him.
for Shockey-
Where'd all his fans go? You know. Those who were going on and on about how great he'd be and how he would open up this offense so much more. I'll take Billy Miller all day at this point.
With that said, how many picks do we have in this draft and what do we get with them?

We could have five first round picks and it won't make a difference with Payton and his cute play calling

We lost our 2nd(Either to the Vilma deal or to the Shockey deal). We may also end up without a 3rd or 4th. We also lost our 5th.

That might actually be a blessing. This regime seems to do better in rounds 4-7 rather than rounds 2-3 anyway.
Bush and Ellis were good picks. They were picks that had to be made as well. No way you can pass on Reggie Bush, and we desperately needed a DT and he was one of the best in the draft, so I'm not gonna knock either player or pick like many clowns on here do so often.

Yeah I just looked at that. Bush was the only choice there and may end up being the best one even in retrospect.
