This is ridiculous. Here in OH, depending on the sport, a HS coach can coach his players in the offseason as long as there are not too many of them on the same team. I coach lacrosse, and in the offseason, I am limited to coaching only 6 players at a time. For reference, there are 10 players on the field at a time.

This is done to prevent full school teams competing in tournaments, etc. in the offseason and getting more coaching than those who don't have that opportunity.
