My mother and father divorced when I was 7 years old. He was remarried and divorced again (with 2 more kids). Both women cheated on him and cut him loose.
He died when I was 24 from AIDS. I'm 52 now.
He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman and sports fan.
My biggest regret in life is never having a closer relationship with my father. I would see him a couple times a year and took those meetings for granted.
I would love to have the opportunity to just sit around and watch a game and have a beverage and talk about nothing that matters.
