People saying he didn’t improve as season went on obviously do not know football. Let him stay in a system for more than a year and let’s see what happens.

Hooker played in UT's system 1 year and look at the results. Caleb Williams has been in USC's system for 1 year, albeit pretty much the system they brought from Oklahoma. However, he's only a sophomore and had WAAY better stats than Daniels. Hurts played in Oklahoma's system for 1 year, threw for 32 TD's and ran for 20.
JD had 7 passing TD's against 0 Int's in his best 3-game stretch (UF, Ole Miss, and Bama). Then proceed to throw 2 TD's against 2 Int's in his last four games. That's not improvement. Not to mention 86 total yards passing against Arky, a team with 1 of the worst passing defenses in the conference.
In 13 games, he failed to throw a single TD in 4 of them. That's close to a third of his games. Everyone THOUGHT he turned a corner during that great 3-game stretch but it didn't last. What indicator are you using to say he improved? Watching film breakdowns, he still misses tons of open receivers and throws late on many of his passes. His throws are usually wobbly as well and rarely do you see a spiral from him.
Daniels is a decent QB that can sometimes play above average football. Hopefully he makes a huge leap in his 5th season starting. If not, it'll be another season of frustration watching him hold the ball too long and eat unnecessary sacks.
