I'd figure a layperson can recognize one and there aren't that many different things to shoot.

I don’t know but it probably helps to know what to shoot at for maximum effect. I suppose a little homework could lead you to spots to target.
I think one of the previous instances I posted about, it was also suspected that it was an inside job.
