re: Selling a car in a private sale, do you remove the license plate?

I run into this a lot. You have to make sure the registration is canceled. Florida(where I’m an agent) is one of those states where the tag must be turned in. Otherwise, when you cancel insurance, it appears as if you’re driving uninsured and your license could be suspended.
