You are right about the Alpharetta crowd. But they aren't exactly like the other suburbs. You can't dip your paint brush in Alpharetta and paint all of the suburbs with it.

Decatur City Schools. Most of the northern half of Brookhaven is zoned for solid schools. Dunwoody near a Marta station.

Nor can you paint anything remotely convenient to the city as unaffordable or without good schools.
