LSU 2008, NICK SABAN, ALABAMA #1, JARRET LEE,LES MILES,ETC

Its the week we've all been waiting for, LSU vs Bama. LIL Nicky vs THE HAT, Gumps vs coonasses, roll tide-geaux tigers. ESPN Gameday, #1 in Tiger stadium.
Hell yeah we are down, hell yeah its gonna be a tough row to hoe, but this is what college football is all about!!

my feelings on our touchy subjects:
Nick Saban- still got love for the man, HE DIDNT LEAVE US FOR BAMA, he left for the NFL. He didnt lie to US when he said he wasnt interested in the Bama job he lied to the media and dolphins. He did leave a bad taste in my mouth with having farewell presser on Christmas Day, and then bama presser on day of OUR Sugarbowl game. Overall the man did a great job here and i hold lil to no ill will towards him!

Alabama #1- they deserve it , not by alot but they along with 2-3 others can claim this as well. Texas Tech might be the team, Penn State im not sold on, Florida still has a ways to go to earn it(cant lose to ole miss and be #1 until you get a few more skins. but Florida or Bama def deserve title shot depending on who runs table, both will have beaten SECs powers to get there.

Les Miles- i still have great confidence in Les, the qb situation was made worse by outside issues, his record speaks for itself. The def cor spot or schemes are gonna be a big issue that he needs to work out to keep us in the ELITE status our program is in right now.

Jarret Lee- up until last night I had alot of confidence in Lee that he was gonna be one of the best QB's we've ever had before he leaves, but another pick 6 vs Toolame and a dismal overall performance has me having real doubts. At the same time his int probs are very fixable, its not physical just mental so now i'm at a wait and see. He's a less consistent Brett Farve, before toolame game, he made alot of great pays, and alot of boneheaded ones....

LSU 2008- I was a lil disappointed in the 2 losses mainly by the margin of defeat, but with 3 mins left in the 3rd q we were down to florida 20-14 and had them 3rd and 3..... didnt stop them and they blasted us rest of way. UGA jumped on us but we came back, let them get up good again but still made a run at them. We threw incomplete on 4th and 5 inside ugas 20 with 5 mins left down 14, we score there and its 7 points with lots of time to score again( and we did score again but ofcourse so did uga). My biggest dissapointments have been the non-conf wins and sec lack luster wins! the final scores were ok vs ntexas,toolame, appy st, but we usually are up 40 in the mid 3rd q and then shut it down, we've actually scored a few times in 4th q to get these margins. Then MOO u? 10 points? wtf?! it was never that close but shoulda been 24-30 easily! Auburn in hind sight shoulda been alot more but at the time it was nice, and so carolina shoulda been more but on the road a win is a win.
Overall we've had a little tarnish on our elite status in cfb, but we still are top 3 program of the decade. and still topdawg program of SEC in the decade.
Ask USC and Ohio State, if the top dawgs have to lick wounds every now and then!
