I really don’t understand what point you’re trying to make. What exactly has he done in terms of building the farm that you think is substandard? The draft is the only thing he can be judged on and the results are very good.

I pretty much said it in my first comment and people chose to take it in a million other directions , I don't think he is going to be that great at guiding a team through a rebuild given what we know right now because he has never done it, and our farm is atrocious right now. Like someone else said, his early picks have been pretty bad. The scouting department is usually more responsible for mid to late round hits like Strider and Harris, and Dana Brown is likely gone in the next few years for a GM job (though to be clear AA still gets some credit for those guys, GMs are just usually a lot more hands on with the first and second rounders).

Once we are out of our window I think we are gonna be in pretty rough shape, which for most people is worth it for even 1 WS much less if we get multiple.

I think that for the most part (outside of the occasional cheap signing and hopefully Fried getting the biggest contract in club history I know ) the club is set for the next half decade, and I feel like we’re going to see the farm take a higher priority going forward. Give AA the next 5 years to rebuild it and I bet it’s one of the best again.
